Why Considering Egg Replacement Meals Is Not In Your Best Interest

By John Myers

When going to the refectory to order a particular meal, it is either because you love it so well that it makes you feel nice or you want to gain some nutrition for it. Some others, especially the aged ones, eat to stay alive. Eggs fit into all these reasons depending on who is involved so an egg replacement meal isn't going to augur well with a greater number of the population.

If not for any other reason, you should love eggs because they are real foods. They are natural and contain and are wholesome, providing almost every vital nutrient the body needs. It comes unprocessed and with no side effects as seen in most other processed foods. You can decide to eat them boiled or fried.

If there is anything natural and faster to cook than an egg, you should strive to get it. Eggs are are the fastest to cook and you can always have it for breakfast or lunch. Even if you want a quick snack at work, it will only take you about 10 minutes or less to prepare. Most processed foods lack as much goodness as there is in a single egg. They are nothing close to the 70 calories of energy, 9 amino acids and six grams of protein that eggs supply to the body.

For a good supply of Vitamin D, eggs can be a sure bet. Thus, they are helpful in preventing rickets in children and also aid in the absorption of calcium from to be sure that the amount of vitamin D consumed is adequate. A short supply will lead to serious consequences of both vitamin D and calcium deficiencies.

As one grows older, there is always a fear of having a poorer vision. But this is not always the case especially among those that know about the antioxidants known as lutein and zeaxanthin. These antioxidants are available in some natural foods including eggs. Even though you can be sure to find them elsewhere, it is still better to stick to eggs because the little present in them can be easily absorbed into the bloodstream.

Eggs also have what is known as choline. As a matter of fact, as much as 125 mg of it can be found in an average-sized egg. Choline helps in body metabolism by aiding transport of materials from one point to another. Some organs will fail without it and a good example is the liver.

If you need something cheap, you have got eggs by your side. You will not regret spending a few cents for the benefits it provides. Children who are given eggs at home for break time grow healthier than their mates who are given money to take care of themselves.

One may find it difficult in this present age to believe that eggs can fight heart attack. This is because of the old rumor that eggs have cholesterol. The truth is that the cholesterol in eggs is the good one which is known as HDL. The presence of HDL in the blood prevents fats from piling up in the blood and blood vessels. The United States Department of Agriculture also supports consuming it so well. There would be no problem with your cholesterol level even if you consume up to three per day.
